► A Remarkable Achievement of JCESC!! The Debate Team of Jalalabad Cantonment English School and College has once again proved that any success can be achieved with indomitable will, proper planning and relentless hard work. JCESC Debate Team has achieved a unique feat this year in the race for excellence, leaving behind nearly 60 famous Cantonment Public and English School and Colleges of the country and bringing enviable success to the institution. In this journey to become the runner-up, JCESC College Debate Team, being the Regional Champion in Sylhet area, defeated Mainamati English School and College and Joshore Cantonment English School and College in the Quarter-Final, Cantonment Public School and College Rangpur in the Semi-Final, and went to the Finale in the Final Round in Chottagram. Finally JCESC Debate Team bags the honour of Runner Up in the Inter Cantonment English Medium School and Colleges Parliamentary Debate Competition, 2024 Lamia Anzum Tasheen has won the Best Speaker in almost all the sessions. ► A Tremendous achievement of JCESC!! Jalalabad Cantonment English School and College bags the Champion Trophy by defeating Scholarshome in The 5th National Debate Federation Bangladesh (NDF), Sylhet Division,2024. Earlier JCESC School Team won the Quarter Final Round beating Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College and triumphed over Anandaniketon in the Semi Final round. Finally JCESC won the Championship and got the Champion Trophy to make JCESC proud. Adian Abdullah became the Best Speaker of the Tournament. JCESC has been selected as the Best Debating College in the 5th National Debate Federation (NDF) in Sylhet Division, 2024. A great Congratulations to the JCESC Team Members: Mahdin Ahmed Tehamee Shafi Maula Chowdhury Adian Abdullah. In addition, Mariha Haque Chowdhury from College became 2nd in Public Speaking Competition and Mahdin Ahmed Tehamee won the 3rd position in Barwari Debate Competition, 2024 Best wishes to all the winners  
► Md Taslimur Rahman from STD XII a talented environment lover of JCESC has become one of the three champions in the district level and selected for the National round of Wildlife Olympiad 2024, arranged by Directorate of Forests and Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate.
► Our pride Lamia Anzum Tasheen achieved Bronze Award in The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition 2024. Congratulations, Lamia!!
► The Final day and Prize Giving Ceremony of the three-day-long Inter-Cantonment English Medium Parliamentary Debate Competition has been accomplished. JCESC became the Champion of the College Level and the Runner Up in the School Level at the regional level of the Inter-Cantonment Parliamentary Debate Competition. Apart from this, Lamia Anzum Tasheen and Mahira Farnaz jointly got the Best Speaker of the Tournament at the School Level.
► In the International Olympiad on Empowerment, Language & Leadership in Vietnam held on 1-2 July Bangladesh achieved 5 medals out of 12, among them 2 were achieved by the students of JCESC. Lamia Anzum Tasheen (Group-3) and Mahdin Ahmed Tehamee (Group-2) achieved 2ndrunner-upp (Bronze) and 1strunner-upp position (Silver) respectively. Participants from 21 nations joined the Olympiad and JCESC is the only school to bag 2 medals.
► Md Nafis Sadik, a genius student of STD-VII of Jalalabad Cantonment English School & College was selected for the National round after winning in Upozella, District and Divisional level in the Special Group. He earned 6th position for Sylhet among the 64 districts. His project was: "Train Accident Prevention"
► We are happy to share that eight of our beloved students will go to Vietnam  on 29 June under the leadership of our Senior Teacher Atia Amatun Nur. They will take part in the International Olympiad on Empowerment,Language & Leadership-2023, organised by GEIST International (Global Educators Initiative For Sustainable Transformation) and GILC (Global Innovation & Leadership Center) which will be held in Phenika University, Hanoi, from 01 July to 04 July, 2023. It is to be noted that from Sylhet Division 14 students got selected for the International Round of which 08 are from JCESC. We wish you safe travels, competitive competition and  successful return.
► “International Robot D Challenge-2019” organized by South Korea. A student of JCESC has achieved gold medal in the international level.
► This institution has secured the “2nd Runners up” place in “Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad-2019”.
► In May 2018, JCESC has become champion and Runners-up in the “Inter-Cantonment English School & College Table Tennis and Handball competition”.
► This institute has gloriously achieved Silver and bronze medal in the sectors “Line following Adventure” and “creative category” in “International Robot Olympiad 2019 Thailand”.

► JCESC got the 1st place for science project in sub-district, district and division stages in the “Jatiyo Shishu Puroshkar-2019”.
► Fore celebrating the 55th Birthday of Sheikh Rasel Art competition and recitation competition were organized, in which, JCESC respectively became 1st & 2nd.
► Students of this institute achieved 1st and 2nd position in Hand writing competition & Essay competition organized by “Shorkari Gonogronthagar” on 21st February 2019.  
► On the occasion of “National Mourning Day-2019” Bangladesh Shishu Academy arranged and art competition. In this contest JCESC secured the 1st position in sub-district stage and 3rd position in district stage.
